A Twinkling Of A Star A Moment Of Life

"This Moment In Time"

A small portion of existence which is now passing, yet is starting anew.  The instant you hear the words I speak is another frame than that they were spoken.  Constantly moving, particles of being we cling to for the presence of life.  Some we harbor in our memories and those which are to come we see in our minds.

"Time, flowing like a river. Time, beckoning me."  "Things seem to take an unearthly long time.  Although much less often things which should have taken a long time seem to have zipped by in an instant."

In our lives we find our selves concerned with every precious moment.  And we plot our course in a hurried manner.  In hopes of total consumption of that second before the sweep hand on the clock can reach it.  The world's distractions have taught us the way to use up our life quickly.  The essence of time is not how much you can cram into it, but what you can get out of it.

"There was a time when I was in a hurry as you are, I was like you.  Now I don't mean to make you frown, no I just want you to slow down."

Relax.  Most certainly a good way to begin.  Take the time, just a few minutes to feel the calm come over you.  The presence of physical serenity.  As you bathe in this stillness let your mind enjoy the peace.  And experience the wholeness of the moment.  Allow yourself to ponder the thoughts that come to mind.  And venture deeper within your own being.  To experience the fullness of life.

"Like a tunnel that you follow to a tunnel of its own, down a hollow to a cavern where the sun has never shown, like a door that keeps revolving in a half forgotten dream or the ripples from a pebble someone tosses in a stream.   Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face  And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space.  Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind."  "With a key unlock the door to imagination, beyond it is another dimension, a dimension of sight, a dimension of sound, a dimension of mind, your moving through a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas.  Guiding you through this wondrous journey is the hypnotic sound of the Twilight Zone.  Now hear this melody, this strange illusion takes over me, through a tunnel of the mind, perhaps a place for all future time.  Out of nowhere comes a song this melody that keeps spinning round around, pyramid of locomotion from this mystic diamond zone, here in the twilight, here in the twilight, Twilight Zooo....."..".....oone.  In a teeny world getting smaller all the time, things go better with a subtle harmony, it's the international fantasy.  We danced all night and I lost all sense of time, to another damn tune I can't get out of my mind, I think we made contact , but I can't be certain.  Am I the man you want me to be, operating strategy.  Moonlight and muzak and I, moonlight and muzak and I, moonlight and muzak and I."

Above includes words sung by: Engelbert Humperdinck, The Alan Parsons Project, an excerpt from "A Child's Garden Of Grass," Olivia Newton-John, Dusty Springfield, The Manhattan Transfer and M.
